Glen Weiner


Deputy Executive Director

Glen joins StudentsFirstNY from the Roosevelt Institute, a nonprofit organization devoted to carrying forward the legacy and values of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, where he served as Director of Communications and Interim President and CEO.

For seven years prior to his work at the Roosevelt Institute, Glen held a number of communications leadership roles at TIAA-CREF, including as Vice President and Head of Business Development Marketing. He has an extensive background in government, politics and communications strategy, serving as Director of Polling and Strategic Planning for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Research Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2000 campaign for the United States Senate, and Associate Director of Research in the Clinton White House.

Glen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Classics from Binghamton University. He and his family reside in Brooklyn.
