Director of Advocacy
Renisha joins StudentsFirstNY from the Achievement First network, a charter management organization operating public charter schools in New York, Rhode Island and Connecticut, where she served as the Director of External Relations. Previously, she spent years in education serving as a classroom teacher, data coordinator, high school academic advisor and school administrator for the SEED School of Washington, D.C., operations manager for Cesar Chavez Schools for Public Policy, community organizer and data manager for StudentsFirstNY, and founder and consultant for the Sharpest Consulting Group. Renisha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts in Government from Johns Hopkins University. She resides in Brooklyn.
