Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian is asking fellow Internet users to help support Brooklyn educators who teach science, technology, engineering and math.
Ohanian’s goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of the month. As he told the New York Daily News:
“The work teachers do can span generations and changes lives,” [Ohanian] said. “The least I can do is hold a fundraiser so they can buy supplies and not have to pay for it out of their own pocket.
